My name is Mark Tess and this fall I begin my eighteenth year at Boothbay Region Elementary School, and tenth year as principal. We are a Kindergarten through eighth grade school of approximately four hundred students. On behalf of the students and teachers at Boothbay Region Elementary School, I’d like to welcome you to our school’s web site.
At B.R.E.S. our goal is to provide a meaningful, and rich educational experience for every child. Our core curriculum centers on mathematics, language arts, science and social studies. Specialists programs are offered in the areas of art, physical education, music, library, technology education, health, and family and consumer science. All of the work that we do is in support of our district goals of improving literacy, the integration of technology, improving instructional strategies, school climate, numeracy and differentiating instruction.
